Submit a placing request for an S1 place

Use this form if you wish to submit a placing request for S1 in a Fife secondary school.

If you live in Fife, you will always be asked to select the child's correct catchment school.

There is also the option to select a school out with your child's catchment school, known as a "Placing Request".

This form must be completed before 9am on the 17th March 2025 in the year the child will begin school.

What you will need before starting this form:

• Child's details, including medical history
• Emergency contact information
• Digital copies or photos of the following evidence

Evidence you will be asked to upload:

• Child's birth certificate
• Medical assessment (if applicable)
