Business Rates - Apply for new & improved property relief

Use this form if your property is a new entry property, new build property or a property which has had improvements carried out.

If your premises is a new build, entered onto the Valuation Roll from 1 April 2018 onwards, you will pay no rates until it becomes occupied. Once occupied, the ratepayer will continue to receive relief for a further 12 months.

If you expand or make improvements to your property, rates will continue on your old rateable value for 12 months.
