Apply to lease - Community groups & sports clubs (other than professional clubs)

Complete this form if you wish to lease all or part of a building and/or land. This does not include Council houses/flats and land for a trading/catering concession or contractor's compound.

Allow 10-30 minutes to complete this form.

You must be at least 18 years old to complete this form and applications must be submitted at least 3 months before the proposed start date of the lease.

You will need to know the following information before starting this form:

• address of the building you wish to lease
• what3words location of the land you wish to lease
• details of the chairperson, secretary and treasurer (Only required if unincorporated association)
• building warrant and/or planning application reference number (You will have been provided with this if you have applied for a building warrant and/or planning permission)
• description of the land and/or building you wish to lease
• a business plan to cover a minimum of the first three years of the lease which must include a detailed estimate of the income and expenditure

View the Business Plan template for an example. The Business Plan and financial projections should cover at least the first 3 years of the lease.

You may be asked to upload the following documents:

• an Ordnance Survey Plan or other map (to identify the building and/or land you wish to lease)
• a copy of the constitution document and minutes from the meeting that adopted it (Only required if unincorporated association)
