Apply for an animal breeding licence

If you breed dogs, cats or rabbits in Fife, or are thinking about doing this, you can use this form to apply for a licence.

A licence may be granted or renewed for a period of 1, 2 or 3 years, depending on the outcome of the inspection from the date that it is granted.

Cost of application:

• 3 – 20 Animals - £165
• 21 – 49 Animals - £223

This is including VAT, paid online at the end of this form, using a credit/debit card.

A licence will be granted once the following steps are complete:

• Completed application form
• Full payment
• Satisfactory inspection of the premises by Fife Council
