Two more dates added to Dunfermline's free bus travel

This Valentine's Day and Mother’s Day we're spreading the love with free bus travel in Dunfermline!

The City of Dunfermline Area Committee agreed to fund this initiative last year, with free bus travel in Dunfermline on Sunday 1, 8, 15 and 22 December 2024. There’s budget remaining so Valentines Day and Mother’s Day have been added.

Enjoy free bus rides on these holidays. It’s a great way to visit Dunfermline City centre for shopping and spending time with family and friends at local restaurants, cafes, and bars. This initiative not only supports local businesses but also:

• encourages using eco-friendly public transport,
• helps out households without a car, and
• reduces carbon emissions.

Free bus travel on Friday 14 February and Sunday 30 March 2025 only covers journeys made on Stagecoach and Bay Travel services within the Dunfermline zone area.
