Major Roadworks – Halbeath Road, Dunfermline February to March 2025

Rail bridge over Halbeath Road, dunfermline

Over the next few weeks, we're investing £250,000 improving the road network in Dunfermline.

We'll be resurfacing Halbeath Road, Dunfermline - from Garvock Bank Railway Bridge to Cherrybank junction from 24 February to 14 March 2025.

Temporary traffic lights will be used to manage the traffic and keep both roadworkers and the travelling public safe.

Location

Halbeath Road is a busy, main road in Dunfermline and these works will have an impact on traffic flow and possibly cause delays. Our traffic management contractor will monitor the traffic conditions and manually adjust the temporary traffic lights when needed.

Access will be maintained for residents as well as access for emergency services at all times. Bus services will be maintained with temporary bus stops provided. For more bus information please contact Stagecoach on 01592 645680 or visit www.stagecoachbus.com.

Thank you for your patience and co-operation as we carry out these essential works.
