Not long to go! The beloved Links Market is back in Kirkcaldy from 16-21 April. 
From 2pm on Wednesday you can have all the fun of the Fair in our very own Lang Toun.
Most locals will be aware that with the Market comes the usual road closure of the Esplanade, but for those who don’t know, Kirkcaldy Esplanade, from Charlotte Street to Morrison’s will close at 10pm on Saturday 12 April until 4pm Wednesday 23 April.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Charlotte Street, Volunteers Green, Nicol Street, Abbotshall Road, Pratt Street and Bridge Street.
Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained.
And why not give yourself a break from driving and make your trip is as stress free as possible. Check what public transport is available at www.traveline.com and use the bus or train if you can. Kirkcaldy bus and train stations are both within walking distance.
If you must use your own vehicle, paid for parking will be available at the Esplanade multi-storey car park, which will stay open until 30 mins after the Market closes. There are also other surface car parks.
Please make sure you follow all parking restrictions including the ones on neighbouring streets: Links Street, Gas Wynd, Hendry’s Wynd, Heggies Wynd and Fergus Wynd.
