Funding awarded to support next phase of Cowdenbeath Town House redevelopment

Members of the Cowdenbeath Area Committee have contributed £35,000 from the area budget to help enable the next stage of the Cowdenbeath Town House redevelopment project.

This funding will support the development of detailed plans required to secure planning permission, ensuring all preliminary work is completed to unlock further potential funding. This marks a significant step towards restoring and repurposing the historic Town House for community use.

Cllr Alex Campbell, Convenor of the Cowdenbeath Area Committee, said:
"This is an exciting step forward in the transformation of Cowdenbeath Town House. The funding will allow BRAG Enterprises to move ahead with essential planning work, ensuring this much-loved building can be brought back into use for the benefit of the community. We’re committed to supporting initiatives that preserve our local heritage while creating opportunities for future generations."

BRAG Enterprises will now progress with developing plans, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the project meets the needs of the local community.
