Councillor Altany Craik, Spokesperson for Finance, Economy, and Strategic Planning, said:

“Congratulations to all the winning schools and to our Fife staff and pupils getting active travelling to and from school both as part of this competition and year-round.

“Getting kids into healthy habits like sustainable travel into their lives at a young age makes a positive difference to their health, the environment, and family finances, which is why active travel plays a key role in our Local Transport Strategy.

“We are also committed to encouraging everyone in Fife to take part in the benefits of active travel, which is why we’ve been promoting it to adults and families in March and April. From woodland walks to scenic cycle paths, active travel makes it easy to enjoy the great outdoors.”
