As part of the ongoing consultation around the future of Lochgelly’s community facilities and services, Fife Council is inviting residents to a drop-in session at Lochgelly Centre on Thursday, 24 October, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
The drop-in session is the last opportunity for people to take part in the consultation on local services and facilities in Lochgelly, ask questions, and share their views.
This week, in partnership with Deciding Matters, there will be two community workshops to gather input from Lochgelly residents. People attending these workshops will have the chance to discuss their ideas in more detail. Alongside this, a series of fun day activities for local children at Lochgelly Centre. These events will give young people the chance to share their thoughts on what services they would like to see, while enjoying arts and crafts, games, and face painting.
We want to hear from as many people as possible as part of the Lochgelly consultation and these efforts are designed to ensure everyone in the community, including children, can help shape the future of Lochgelly’s services.
Councillor Alex Campbell, Cowdenbeath Area Committee Convenor, said:"We’re looking forward to hearing from as many people as possible during the upcoming workshops and fun days. If you can't attend those events, this drop-in session is another opportunity to have your say. Every opinion matters as we work together to shape Lochgelly's future services."
