Fancy some chat, fun and a bit to eat over the summer holidays? Come alonf to Cafe Inc lunch clubs. No need to book.Fife Council's hugely successful Café Inc will be serving up free lunches across Fife during the upcoming school holidays.

The drop-in, free, lunch scheme Café Inc will run at various venues to provide a free, midday meal for local children, young people and families. The scheme is open to all children, young people,  parents and families during the summer holidays, subject to availability.

Cllr Linda Erskine, Strategic Spokesperson for Communities and Leisure Services, said: " We provide free school meals during term time for over 9,000 pupils across Fife. But we know that there's a lot of pressure on all families during the school holidays, particularly with costs still continuing to rise. "

Open to children, young people and families, free lunches will be available in a number of schools and community facilities. No need to book or register for lunch,  just drop in and enjoy some food and fun. Please be aware that meals are available only as long as stocks last.

Councillor Erskine concluded: "It's a very sad fact that during school holidays many children in Fife go hungry. We don't think this is acceptable and that’s why Café Inc is open to all, it gives children and families a chance to meet up with friends and enjoy a bite to eat in some good company.  I'd urge anyone to come along and enjoy a family lunch with some friendly chat and fun this summer. "

It is recommended children under 10 are accompanied by an adult.
