Planned roadworks on B912 Dunfermline to Kingseat road and Bennochy Road, Kirkcaldy

Fife Council is investing £140,000 improving the B912 Dunfermline to Kingseat road. 

  • We’ll be carrying out resurfacing works from 3 – 14 July from the junction of Whitefield Road and Kingseat Road to the west entrance to Kingseat.
  • Works will be carried out Monday - Friday, from 7.30am to 5.00pm. The road will be closed during the works and a diversion route will be signposted.
  • We’ll maintain access for emergency services and there will be limited access for residents.

We're investing another £140,000 on resurfacing works Kirkcaldy .

  • The work will take place in two phases from the Lomond Gardens junction to the Massereene Road junction, between 31 July and 11 August.
  • Works will be carried out Monday - Friday from 7.30am to 5.00pm.
  • As the works progress in phases, the junctions at Lomond Gardens and Massereene Road will be closed with diversions signposted.
  • We’ll maintain access for emergency services at all times.

Councillor Altany Craik, Fife Council’s Spokesperson for Finance, Economy and Strategic Planning said: “We maintain over 2,400km of roads in Fife and we’re spending millions each year repairing and improving them.

“Our road network is vital to support economic development, inward investment, tourism, leisure and travel to work. Almost everyone in Fife uses our roads on a daily basis, which is why this type of maintenance work is so essential.”
