PEOPLE in Tayside and Fife will be able to play their part in shaping future bus services in the area when further consultation gets underway later this month.

The Tayside Bus Alliance is holding public drop-in events in Arbroath, Dundee, Perth and St Andrews to present its work so far and gather views on what comes next.

The key aim of the Tayside Bus Alliance is the delivery of targeted bus improvements such as bus priority measures, route and network design enhancements, in addition to wider measures to make bus services more attractive.

Priority measures can include bus lanes, junctions design and access, as well as supporting measures, including better service frequencies, routes, easier ticketing, bus vehicles and stop facilities.

The Alliance is now undertaking a public consultation to get views on the future direction of travel to improve public transport regionally and make bus services better.

Public events are set to take place to improve travel by bus across Tayside and North East Fife in February and March 2023.
