Annual Accounts 2022-23 Public Inspection Notice

Fife Council, Fife Pension Fund, Fife Council Charitable Trusts and Fife Integration Joint Board accounts for the period from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023

Notice is hereby given in accordance with sections 101 and 195 of the 1973 Local Government (Scotland) Act and Regulation 9(1) and 9(3a) of the Local Authority Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2014 that;

An unaudited copy of the Fife Council, Fife Pension Fund and Fife Council Charitable Trust accounts will be available to view at www.fife.gov.uk/annualaccounts and an unaudited copy of the Fife Integration Joint Board accounts will be available to view at www.fifehealthandsocialcare.org.

The unaudited accounts will be available for public inspection between the hours of 9.30 am and 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday, from 3rd July 2023 to 21st July 2023 (inclusive) at Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes, Fife.

Any such persons interested may inspect the unaudited accounts and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating thereto and may take copies of any or all parts of the accounts free of charge. Any person interested may object to the accounts or to any part of those Accounts, no later than 21st July 2023 by;

  • sending their objection in writing, together with a statement of the grounds thereof, to the appointed auditor, Nick Bennett, Azets, Exchange Place 3, Semple Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8BL (for Fife Council, Fife Pension Fund, and Fife Council Charitable Trust accounts):
  • sending their objection in writing, together with a statement of the grounds thereof, to the appointed auditor, Chris Brown, Azets, Exchange Place 3, Semple Street, Edinburgh EH3 8BL (for Fife Integration Joint Board); A copy of that objection and statement must also be sent to the Head of Finance, Fife Council, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes, Fife, KY7 5LT, by 21st July 2023.

Any person who makes any such objection has the right to appear before and be heard by the Auditors, Azets, either personally or by a representative with respect to that objection, either on a face-to-face basis or conducted remotely using appropriate electronic communication.
