Let's Love Leven

That’s the message behind a festive season campaign encouraging people to stay loyal to Leven by the spending locally.

Launching on Saturday 26 November at the town’s Christmas light switch on, the campaign kicks off with a town centre gift voucher give-away. Gift vouchers will be given away for local businesses such as the butchers, greengrocer and cafes within Leven Town Centre.

The campaign launched by Fife Council in conjunction with local businesses, Leven Community Council and Kingdom FM will also see a Kingdom FM radio advert run from 26 November to 24 December. It encourages people to spend Christmas locally with the Leven Town Centre “family” of businesses - supporting the people behind the businesses.

In early December, there will be Leven Town Centre Golden Tickets to be won including a £250 Golden Ticket and 3 x £100 Golden Tickets which can be spent at businesses within Leven Town Centre (terms and conditions will apply).

Going into the New Year, people will meet the faces behind the businesses as a spotlight campaign will showcase town centre businesses. It will highlight all the businesses that continue to invest and stay within the town centre, despite the current challenges.

Convener of Levenmouth Area Committee, Cllr Colin Davidson commented: “Fife Council continue to work with businesses and people within the community to support them through these challenging times.

"This campaign is about community wealth building, reminding people of the good quality offering within the town centre but also that every £ they choose to spend with local businesses can help keep these businesses open and protect local jobs. This campaign not only gives something back to the people of Levenmouth for staying loyal to Leven but also encourages locals to continue to Love Leven.”
