To help you cope with any extra recycling and rubbish generated over the festive season, we produced some short, fun videos to highlight the information you might need.
- Our recycling centres are open as usual up to Christmas. They reopen with their normal timetable from 27 December.
- Our recycling points are being emptied on a more regular basis. But, if the bins are overflowing please don't add more.
- When you’re finished with your Christmas tree, either put it into the brown bin or cut it into smaller than 1.8m lengths (that’s 6 feet in old money). Put it out beside your brown bin next time it’s due for collection. Please take your recycling and waste home and store it for a few more days.
