Fife Council is committed to supporting town centres, and small businesses can apply for help with the cost of Covid-19 public health measures.
Additional funding for the Small Business Covid Grant scheme has been secured, so further applications can be considered, while funding allows.
New applications are now invited, subject to funding availability. The grant application has re-opened due to demand.
Small businesses in Fife’s main Town Centres can apply for a £100 grant towards the cost of public health and safety measures required to reopen safely and cope with Covid-19.
Applications are invited from businesses located in Fife’s town centres https://www.businessgatewayfife.com/covid-safety-grant.
What is being funded?
Grants can reimburse costs already incurred. Eligible expenditure can include:

- Protective screens installed at cash-desks and other public interface areas.
- Internal signage related to public safety.
- Other items may be considered eligible at the discretion of Fife Council.
Who can apply?

- Operate from business premises that are accessed by the public.
- Have no more than three business outlets in a business chain.

This latest funding, being administered by Business Gateway Fife, is just one of our projects now underway that will provide an extra boost for Fife’s economy and support new measures for town centres, addressing immediate concerns and helping our communities recover.”
