The new Levenmouth Reconnected Task Group met for the first-time last week.

This new group will play a key role in how the £10m for Levenmouth’s blueprint is spent across the area.

Making up the task group are members of Levenmouth Rail Campaign, local councillors, community councillors and officers from Network Rail, SEPA and Fife Council. Levenmouth Area Committee Convener, Cllr Ken Caldwell will chair Levenmouth Reconnected Task Group.

Cllr Ken Caldwell said: “The first meeting of the task group was positive; we agreed the work of the group and the way ahead. There’s no denying the amount of work needing achieved, but the group has a strong ‘can do attitude’ that will help us reach our goal.

“It’s an exciting time for Levenmouth and we want to make sure we maximise the benefits and get things right for everyone.”

Levenmouth Reconnected Task Group will meet every eights week and regular updates will follow.
