Stage status: Planning application - submitted in early August 2024
We have identified the preferred layout design that reflects the outcomes from the public consultation, held at the beginning of 2023. This has been submitted for planning approval.
Collectively, the five new build-outs will provide the following:
- 4 additional disabled parking spaces
- A new zebra crossing
- Up to 15 new seats/benches
- 5 new cycle parking rack locations
- 6 new trees, in planters
- Two new loading areas
- Keep clear markings at the Holy Trinity/Church Square access
- Use of public realm surfacing materials, where appropriate
Next stage:
- Awaiting planning consent/approval
- Tender documentation, upon planning consent/approval
- Project implementation/construction
