Cupar - Ceres Road Active Travel Link

Stage status: Consultation

The proposed active travel link on Ceres Road will connect nearby communities with Castlehill Primary School. It will also provide a link to the moor path to Ceres.

A new path 3.5m wide will start at Sandylands Road. It will have a raised crossing to the south and a raised zebra crossing to the north. This will be next to the Castlehill Primary School access path. The eastern footway of Ceres Road will be widened to 3.5m and have a bituminous surface throughout. Robertson Road will have a raised parallel zebra crossing, partially set back from the junction.

Consultation: Summer 2024

Construction: Autumn 2024 (for approx three months)

Distance: 375m approx.

Approximate infrastructure investment: £150,000
