DigiCom Services Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice explains how we use the information we collect about you.
Fife Council uses your personal information provided in your application in order to deliver our DigiCom services.
We will use the information provided by you to assess your application for acceptance in the DigiCom initiative, to enable Fife Council to assess the efficacy of our services, to ensure we’re supporting those in need and to promote equality.
Our legal basis for processing your information is for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Council.
The personal information we gather and use includes your name, address, date of birth, telephone number, gender, ethnicity and household details.
We may share the information included within your application with other Fife Council Services such as Housing, Community Learning & Development and Social Work in order to assess your application. We may, with your permission, share your information with external agencies such as CARF, to ensure that the support services being offered are appropriate for your needs.
In the event we did not request and use this information, then it would not be possible to carry out our statutory functions and provide you with a service.
There is no automated decision-making in relation to your application.
