We share personal data with the H.M. Records office in Edinburgh as we need to confirm birth and marriage dates for recognition from His Majesty The King.
We receive information about you via nominations from members of the public for civic recognition for organisations and individuals.
In the event that we did not request and use this information then it would not be possible to carry out our public function.
