Project Details
The new development at Pitcorthie, Dunfermline, is situated on what was previously Pitcorthie Primary School. It will bring a mixture of 1 and 2-bedroom amenity bungalows, wheelchair specific bungalows, and a social hub house for use by residents of the development. The development is aimed at providing housing for older persons and allocation of these properties will reflect that.
This development is one of the final projects from Fife Council's Phase 3 Affordable Housing Programme, which has delivered 3,500 new affordable houses across all areas of Fife. It's being built for the Council in partnership with Robertson Partnership Homes.
The new homes will provide tenants with energy efficient homes, which includes solar panels to help reduce utility costs. The properties will also meet Scottish Government Sustainability standards, Housing for Varying Needs, and Secure By Design.
