Fife Community Support Service is a service providing both individual and group support for Adults with learning and, for some, physical disabilities.
We are a person-centred service where any activities are based on individual needs, choices, and outcomes. These would be identified through a 6 monthly review process.
Although we are a Community-based service, we also have 4 bases across Fife:
- Stenhouse Street building in Cowdenbeath
- St Clair Centre in Kirkcaldy
- Robert Gough Centre in Leven
- Eden Park cottages in Cupar (as a temporary replacement for the Dalgairn Centre which has been demolished).
We provide support currently for a huge range of chosen activities such as horse riding, arts and crafts, ten-pin bowling, drama, sports, and gym all of which we promote both physical and mental wellbeing.
We run a flexible service however most of our current service users prefer the option of weekdays between the hours of 9pm to 5pm. We have however been known to provide an evening or weekend service if there is a specific activity chosen by a service user to attend.
