Adult Services Resources, Accommodation with Care and Support provides care and support to adults 16+, who have a learning, physical, and/or mental health disability.
Support is provided across Fife on an Outreach, Respite, 24/7, or Shared Lives basis to people with complex and critical care needs.
Using a range of models of care, all services are regulated and must meet the Health and Social Care Standards and contribute to the National Wellbeing Outcomes.
Centred on helping people maintain or improve their independence and quality of life we:
- Support people to live independently at home in their community
- Keep people safe from harm within legislative frameworks
- Work in partnership with integrated health and social care services to promote physical and mental wellbeing, so that people can look after and improve their own health and well-being, to live in good health for longer
- Support people to access a wide, varied range of social, leisure, employment, and education opportunities while having a valued role in their local community
- Maximise independence using the right approach, to ensure that people are engaged in a life that is purposeful and meaningful to them
Building a sense of safety, security, and belonging, by supporting people to build and maintain local, community, and family networks.
