We can provide support for adults and older people in Fife.
The support you receive will depend on your situation and we can offer help ranging from a simple information leaflet to full support by dedicated Social Care Workers.
Self-Directed Support
Self-Directed Support (SDS) is a method of arranging support in a tailor-made way so that people, families, and carers can live more independently with an improved quality of life. SDS aims for people to have as much control, choice, and flexibility over their own lives and support as they want. For more information, check out the On Your Doorstep website.
Social Care Out-of-Hours Support
We have an Emergency Out-of-Hours Social Work Service where our staff is on duty between:

Tel: 03451 550099 - We’re here to help 365 days of the year and last year we responded to more than 3,600 emergency referrals.
Care Opinion: Tell us what's good... Tell us what could be better...
If you've experienced Social Care from Fife’s Adult and Older People Services Team recently, either as a user of services yourself or as a carer or friend of someone else, please tell us how it was via Care Opinion. Tell us what was good. What could have been better?
Your story will be handled confidentially by the non-profit service Care Opinion. Your story may appear (without your name) on their website. Care Opinion will then share the story with adult and older services teams within Fife's Health and Social Care Partnership and we will be able to respond to the feedback you share, but Care Opinion does not reveal your identity to us.
This service is independent of Fife Council and Fife's Health and Social Care Partnership.
