The online application process for enrolling a child in August 2025 has now closed. If you wish to submit an application for a Primary 1 place for August 2025, contact your catchment school directly.
If applying for a different stage (i.e. not primary one), please contact the school directly. To find out which primary school is your catchment school, please use our school catchment checker and contact the school directly. A list of primary schools are available at Primary schools | Fife Council.

It is customary for children to attend their local school (catchment school). If you don't want your child to attend the local school, there's the option within the online form to select an alternative. This request is referred to as a placing request.
Back To TopFor all primary stages, including Primary 1, please get in direct contact with the school you wish to apply to.
Back To TopIf you apply for a catchment school only, we will send out an email before 30th April 2025 to confirm your child's place at that school.
If you make a placing request for a school out-with your catchment area, we will send out a letter in the post with the outcome of your request before 30th April 2025, as per Fife Council policy.
Back To TopIf you move to a new area after April, you may find that there are no places available in your catchment school. In these circumstances, your child would be placed at another school and go on a waiting list for the catchment school.
