Abbeyview Community Hub

The refurbishment and extension to Abbeyview Local Office has provided the community with a modern, flexible community hub that can be used for many years to come.

Flexibility is one of the main features of this development, both in terms of the types of functions in rooms and also how rooms can be interlinked. This will ensure maximum usage by the various community groups.

Key spaces include a large multi use hall, external play area, training kitchen, ICT suite and three general purpose rooms.

A sustainable approach has also been key and the development has adopted a number of Enerphit principles.

Property Services provided detailed design plans, client support services and the work was undertaken by Fife Council Building Services in conjunction with local contractors.
