Dog Watch Fife

Dog Watch Fife is for commercial dog walkers in Fife. We encourage commercial dog walkers who use Fife’s parks and greenspaces to sign up for this voluntary scheme and register their details with the Council.

By complying with the scheme, commercial dog walkers can:

• reduce their impact on parks and other users
• set a good example to other dog walkers
• deliver a safe and quality service for their customers

You, and any vehicles that you use as part of your dog walking business, will be inspected to make sure that they’re fit for purpose. We will also advertise your business for free on this page.

The wider public benefit from this scheme by knowing that the dog walkers listed have been inspected and have agreed to sign up for our Dog Watch Fife scheme.

How to Apply

If you are interested in applying for the scheme, please forward your details, by email or phone to safercommunities.projectofficers@fife.gov.uk or 01592 583642.

Please provide the following information:

• Full Name
• Full Address and Postcode
• Full Business Name, Address, and Postcode
• Contact telephone number
• Website address
• Area/s that you cover when walking dogs

Upon receipt, an acknowledgment will be sent to you and an appointment made so we can take your photograph for the ID card and arrange an inspection of your company by an authorised Fife Council Safer Communities Officer.
