Numeracy Skills

The Adult Basic Education (ABE) team is committed to helping everyone find their own way to manage numbers without stress or anxiety.

Maths and numbers can cause stress to everyone, whether it’s helping young children with their homework, budgeting household costs, or calculating numbers at work.

Our free “Help with Numbers” courses are designed to help and support you become more confident with numbers.

The courses cover a range of topics, from basic numeracy, calculation, and time and numbers, to working towards Core Skills Qualifications, such as National 5 Maths.

The courses are provided in small groups of 8-10 people, so that everyone gets the individual attention they need, and you can work towards your goals, at your own pace.
