Household Waste Recycling Centres are open for domestic waste. Commercial waste cannot be brought into any Household Waste Recycling Centre.
You can dispose of most things at our recycling centres. Our What you can bring to a recycling centre page will give you more information. If the item is not on the list, our A to Z of recycling page will give you advice on how to dispose of the item.
Do I need to book?
You will need to book a visit for the following centres:
In addition to this, the following vehicles must be booked in at all centres:

All other Recycling Centres are open to cars and mobility-adapted vehicles, without a booking.

I don't live in Fife - can I use the recycling centres?
Our recycling centres are not for use by non-Fife householders, unless the material originates from a Fife household and is being delivered by a relative, carer or friend of the householder.
To ensure that only waste generated in Fife is disposed of at our centres, staff may ask for proof of identity or residency. This could be a driving licence or household bill; anything with your address on it.
Failure to provide evidence will result in refusal to dispose of waste at the recycling centre, even if you've made a booking.
You must have a vehicle with a UK licence plate to be able to book online. Email hwrc.enquiries@fife.gov.uk if you have a non-UK licence plate. Please list your details, including name, address, car details, and date/time of your intended visit and someone from the team will be able to help.
