Adult Disability Payment
Adult Disability Payment is a new payment from Social Security Scotland to help with the extra cost of living with a disability or health condition.
Personal Independent Payment (PIP) has transferred from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to Social Security Scotland. A new benefit called Adult Disability Payment will replace PIP for adults in Scotland.

Child Disability Payment
Child Disability Payment provides support for the extra costs that a disabled child might have.
Payment of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children in Scotland has transferred from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to Social Security Scotland. A new benefit called Child Disability Payment will replace DLA for children in Scotland.

Hardship Payment
Hardship Payments are reduced-rate payments of Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA), Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and Universal Credit (UC) that are made in limited circumstances.

Scottish Child Payment
Scottish Child Payment helps towards the costs of supporting your family. It's a weekly payment of £25 that you can get for every eligible child up to 16 years of age. You'll get the payment every 4 weeks if your application is successful.

Funeral Support Payment
If you have recently suffered a bereavement, you may be able to get support towards the costs of the funeral.
Funeral Support Payment helps pay towards the cost of a funeral if you live in Scotland. You can use the payment towards funeral costs for a baby, child or adult. This includes babies who were stillborn.

Short-term Benefit Advance
You may be able to get an advance on your first benefit payment if you’re in urgent financial need. You usually pay it back through your benefits.
