Welfare staff are available to offer support on a number of different topics such as
Community Job Clubs
- A space where people can get access to a PC to undertake job searches
- Support to develop and create CVS or supporting statements
- Support to apply for jobs
- Information on vocational and non-vocational training opportunities in their local area
- Information on how to connect with volunteering opportunities
Welfare support
- Benefit Checking – to ensure you’re receiving everything you’re entitled to
- Support with completing benefit applications
- Help with crisis support such as crisis grants, other financial support and access to food
- Information on other support services and help to access them

We run the Buckhaven Advice Drop-In every Monday between 2-4pm at Buckhaven Community Centre, Kinnear Street, Buckhaven with CARF's community-based advisors attending fortnightly. Come along for help with Universal Credit, debt support and finding out about local support. We can also assist with job search, CV's and applications, benefit checks and completing claims. No appointment needed so just pop along. For more information, please contact 01592 583472.
