I love to help and care for people; it is so wonderful to stand back and watch people enjoy every day.
Sandra, Care Assistant
Caring for others is a huge privilege – it allows one to fundamentally empower others through supporting them with long or short-term needs. At the end of each day, it is extremely rewarding to know that your role has contributed to the quality of life of vulnerable people in the community. A major part of the role is to build a productive and a long-lasting professional relationship with the people who receive your support. It’s a role where no two days are the same, it stimulates and challenges the carer to work towards achieving positive outcomes for the lives of others.
