Thank you for showing your interest in Newburgh Nursery School.

This booklet aims to give you some information about our nursery, our staff, our nursery ethos, our aims and values and the learning opportunities that we provide for our children.

This booklet may give you some of the information you want.

You would be very welcome to come along to see for yourself the facilities we have and to meet the people who will be working in partnership with you to provide a happy nursery experience for your child. If you are not able to call in at the nursery, please do not hesitate to phone for any further information you require.

You will also be most welcome to spend time in the nursery, settling your child or staying for a session whenever you wish. It would be appreciated if you could help staff to take the children on outings or share your skills (e.g. musical/gardening) within the nursery.

We hope that this information will answer some of your questions, however, please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information or would like to visit us. We aim to provide a safe, stimulating and enriching environment which facilitates learning across all areas of the curriculum allowing children to develop skills in literacy, numeracy and health and well-being as well as in other key areas of learning. We can best achieve this by staff and parents working together for the benefit of their child. We look forward to working in
partnership with you to support your child throughout their nursery experience.
