Welcome to Carleton Primary School.
This booklet is provided to tell you something about the school. I fully appreciate that this booklet will not be able to answer all the questions that you would like to ask and I hope that if this is the case, you will contact the School Office.
My teaching colleagues and I are firmly of the opinion that school and parents must work together to ensure that children receive the best possible education.
The broad aim of this school, within its resources, is to provide a balanced education to meet the needs and abilities of its pupils recognising the current expectations of local authority, parents and society.
We continuously strive to create and foster a secure, caring, stimulating yet supportive environment which is conductive to good teaching and learning, in which children can develop confidence and self esteem and where pupils can become self motivated learners who understand and enjoy all the activities in which they are engaged.
Whilst at school all children are encouraged to wear school uniform and behave in a considerate and courteous manner towards each other and towards all adults.
