Dear Parent/ Carer,
This booklet is designed to give you some information about our school. Parents are very welcome to visit our school. Please contact the school office on 01592 583413 to arrange a visit. We have an open door policy, but it is usually best to arrange a time for a visit.
You and your child are about to enter one of the most exciting phases of your lives. I hope that we, in Buckhaven Primary School, can help to make it one of the most enjoyable times too.
We are proud of our inclusive, nurturing atmosphere. Our school works hard to ensure each individual learner is encouraged to be confident, responsible and effective.
I strongly believe there should be partnership between school and parents to promote the best possible education for every child. We aim to work closely with parents. We are grateful for the strong support and involvement of many of our parents.
We have an active Parent Council and regular planned opportunities for parents/carers to be in school with their child.
