Welcome ot the latest edition of Dunfermline Learning Campus News, where we keep you up-to-date with construction on site.
Dunfermline Learning Campus will bring together pupils, students and staff from St Columba’s RC High School, Woodmill High School and Fife College in modern, fit for purpose and low carbon facilities.
Catch up with both school headteachers as they discuss what's next for the schools, putstanding features of the buildings and their hopes for Dunfermline Learning Campus.

In June, Fife College's principal, Jim Metcalfe and vice-principal, Sarah-Jane Linton visited the nearly complete schools at Dunfermline Learning Campus.
Following the tour, Jim Metcalfe told us: "Visiting the wonderful new facilities at St Columba’s and Woodmill High School was an inspiring experience. The schools’ students thoroughly deserve, and will benefit, later this year.
“We were so impressed with the state-of-the-art resources and innovative learning spaces. The dedication to providing an environment that supports academic excellence and personal growth is great to see.”
We encourage everyone who is able, to walk, wheel or take public transport to get to school. Bike racks are available on the campus for storing bikes. Please be aware, there are no parent drop-off zones at the campus.
There are several paths into the campus from all directions - paths highlighted in pink on the map.
The new path from Greenshanks Drive through Duloch Park to the campus will be finished this week. Watch the video for a bird's eye view of the new path.
On route to school, pupils will pass several suds ponds. In class and in school assemblies we'll be reminding pupils of water safety and to stay on the path network - avoiding any areas of open water. For more information on water safety go to Water Safety Scotland.
The schools will open to pupils in August but next door the college is under construction. Having an active construction site so close means everyone coming to the schools needs to follow these simple rules:

Social Value is organisations giving back to their communities, making a real difference in people’s lives. This includes awarding contracts to local suppliers, staff volunteering for good causes or hiring apprentices. The contractors, Balfour Beatty (college) and BAM (schools) are delivering Social Value across the Dunfermline Learning Campus project. Watch the video to hear from some local groups benefiting.
