Fife Council's Dunfermline Learning Campus swept the board at the recent GO Awards Scotland ceremony.
The GO Awards Scotland recognise the achievement and successes in delivering Scottish public sector services, whether from the public, private or third sectors. This year’s ceremony took place on 24 October at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow.
Fife Council's Dunfermline Learning Campus won:
Fife Council worked with Hub East Central Scotland and contractor Bam, awarding £20m in contracts to local suppliers, delivering over 1800 weeks of apprenticeships on the contract and donating nearly £75k to local community projects. This is an excellent example of Social Value in practice; organisations giving back to their communities, making a real difference in people’s lives.
After attending the ceremony, Cllr Altany Craik, Fife Council’s Spokesperson for Finance, Economy and Strategic Planning said: “Congratulations to all the winners - they deserve this recognition for a job well done.
“Fife Council is delivering innovative solutions in the face of many challenges including environmental and financial. Dunfermline Learning Campus is an excellent example of collaborative working benefiting the whole community.”
The Scottish winners will go forward to the GO Awards National which will be held next May in Liverpool.
