Overview
Place Standard - How good is our place? Please let us know how you feel about your local area by taking part in the ‘Our Place 2023’ Survey. In order to ensure that local community plans reflect what really matters to the people living and working in the area, we need to understand how local places in Fife are changing over time. This survey will help us evaluate the quality, in terms of both the physical and social elements of a place, and paint a picture of the local area. This will give us a good overview of what the issues are for different areas of Fife in relation to Place, and how these have changed over time.
Final Report
This survey is based around the Place Standard, a tool to evaluate the quality of a place. It consists of 14 questions which cover both the physical and social elements of a place, to paint a picture of the local area. We have asked these questions before. In 2016, 2018 and 2021 we asked Fife People's Panel members how they felt about their local area. This gave us a good overview of what the issues were for different areas of Fife in relation to Place, and how these have changed over time. In order to ensure that local community plans reflect what really matters to the people living and working in the area, we need to understand how local places in Fife are changing over time and so are now updating our information. The survey results will help inform the Place Standard, Plan4Fife and local community plans.
