Keeping our travel and transport network in good order helps things run smoothly and is also important for safety reasons - there are over 52,000 streetlights keeping 100 towns, villages and major road junctions well lit across Fife.

In this section you'll find information about the ongoing maintenance and improvements of the road network as well as how you can let us know of any problems with pavements or road faults.

Responsibility for maintenance of the Trunk Road Network (i.e. M90, A823M, A92, A977 & A985) currently lies with BEAR Scotland Ltd (Tel 0800 587 1107)
